Dry, spicy and beautifully refreshing — this classic French Saison blends soft wheat and pale malt character with the fruity, peppery complexity that makes Saison such a legendary farmhouse style. Crisp, highly drinkable and packed with yeast-driven flavour, it’s the perfect beer for brewers wanting something a little adventurous without losing that easy-drinking finish.
The included Saaz dry hops add gentle herbal spice and earthy aroma, perfectly complementing the expressive Saison yeast character.

Bitterness: Low-medium, 17 IBU
Colour: Gold, 12 EBC
Approx. ABV: 4.8% – 8.1% (depending on brew volume and style)
Ingredients: Malt extract, hop extracts, Saaz dry hop pellets, dried yeast

Brew Tip:
Fermentables: For a strong, dry Super Saison, add 1.5kg Brick Road Extra Light Malt Extract plus 1kg Brick Road Extra Light Dry Malt Extract (or 1kg Dextrose Brewing Sugar).
Dry Hops: The included Saaz hops provide classic spicy and herbal Saison character, but adventurous brewers can also experiment with Motueka or Hallertau for extra citrus and floral notes.
Alternate Yeasts: Belle Saison, French Saison, Farmhouse Ale strains, BE-134, or other expressive saison yeasts with fruity, spicy and peppery character.

In Stock Quantities Online may vary due to in store sales. Online quantities are pulled from all of our branches stock levels.

We will only deliver to a New Zealand address at this point in time. We don’t deliver to PO Boxes.

If goods are Not Received within 7 days of purchase, contact us.
Any Damaged or Missing Items from your order must be brought to our attention within 7 days of receiving your order.
If your item is Oversized or More Than 25kg you may be contacted for an additional freight charge to be calculated upon picking of order.
We use Courier Post as our freight provider. Prices and providers are subject to change without prior notice.
To ensure successful delivery make sure there is some one Present at the Delivery Address during business hours.
Delivery times are normally 1-2 days to the North Island and 2-5 days to the South island once dispatched. Rural delivery can take an extra day longer.
