Juicy, hazy and ridiculously easy-drinking — this one’s built for fans of modern pale ales bursting with tropical and citrus character. Packed with wheat and light ale malts, it pours with that classic hazy glow and smooth, soft mouthfeel that keeps you coming back for “just one more”.

Makes: 19L – 23L (5 – 6 US gal) depending on brew style
Style: Hazy Pale Ale
Malt: 27% Wheat Malt, 73% Light Barley Malt
Yeast: Hazy Ale Yeast
Bitterness: Low-medium, 17 IBU
Colour: Pale Gold, 10 EBC
Approx. ABV: 4.0% – 5.3% (depending on brew volume and style)
Ingredients: Malt extract (wheat malt extract, barley malt extract), hop extract, dried yeast
Note: Additional fermentables & hops required, see Brew Tip below.
Brew Tip:
Fermentables: For a Hazy Pale Ale, add 1.5kg Brick Road Extra Light Malt Extract (or 1.5kg Muntons Oat Extract). For a lighter Pale Ale, add 1kg Brick Road Extra Light Dry Malt Extract (or 1kg Dextrose Brewing Sugar).
Dry Hops: To crank up the citrus, juicy fruit aromas of a Hazy Pale Ale, add 60g–200g of NZ & Aussie dry hops like Cascade, Citra, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka or Riwaka.
Alternate Yeasts: S-04, US-05, BRY-97, London Ale III, London Fog or other ale yeasts with a clean or slightly fruity character.
Chuck one in the fermenter and let the haze craze begin.

We will only deliver to a New Zealand address at this point in time. We don’t deliver to PO Boxes.

Photo ID Of Person Who's Name is On The Order Must Be Presented to staff when picking up and must match name on order. We do not accept name changes of orders once placed so please make sure you are filling in the correct details.
If goods are Not Received within 7 days of purchase, contact us.
Any Damaged or Missing Items from your order must be brought to our attention within 7 days of receiving your order.
If your item is Oversized or More Than 25kg you may be contacted for an additional freight charge to be calculated upon picking of order.
We use Courier Post as our freight provider. Prices and providers are subject to change without prior notice.
To ensure successful delivery make sure there is some one Present at the Delivery Address during business hours.
Delivery times are normally 1-2 days to the North Island and 2-5 days to the South island once dispatched. Rural delivery can take an extra day longer.
