Get those images of Godzilla and Mothra out of your head! I know you were thing it, but this beer has nothing to do with Japan whatsoever. Yakima is actually a region in the state of Washington USA where some of Joseph Woods favourite hops are grown.

Ingredients:
5.7 Kg American Ale Malt
560g Caramalt
500g Crystal
20g Pacific Jade
100g Amarillo
100g Simcoe
Yeast Selection:
2 x Fermentis US-05
Method:
Mash at 65C for 60 minutes with 17 litres of water Mash out (raise temp) at 75C for 10 mins Sparge 12 litres at 75C and boil for 60 mins At 60 minutes add 20g Pacific Jade to the boil At 10 minutes add 25g Amarillo At 5 minutes add 25g Simcoe At 0 minutes turn off the heat and start a 10 min whirlpool and add 25g Amarillo and 25g Simcoe Cool rapidly and transfer to your sanitised fermenter
Top up to 23 litres with cold/hot water to achieve 18-20C When the wort is between 18-20C, add 2 packets of US05 Yeast and ferment at 19C for 5 days After 4-5 days add 50g Amarillo and 50g Simcoe into the fermenter for the dry hop and leave for another 5 days Add your finings agent and wait 2 days Keg or bottle as usual

To ensure successful delivery make sure there is some one Present at the Delivery Address during business hours.
Delivery times are normally 1-2 days to the North Island and 2-5 days to the South island once dispatched. Rural delivery can take an extra day longer.
