Winter Production Startup 1.2

A tried-and-true setup to get you started like a pro. Designed with our Kiwi winter in mind. There are a lot of cheaper options available online, but if you want the best. Here it is:

1.2m wide x 1.2m deep x 2m high grow tent.

Spider Farmer 100mm carbon filter, fan with digital controller, so you can set high and low for temperature and humidity, and 5m of ducting. Cut 1m off the ducting and connect from your carbon filter to your extraction fan inlet. Then fit the remaining 4m to your extraction fan outlet, run the duct outside the tent, and outside the room. Don't recycle the air.

600w digital ballast, adjustable from 250-660w. This will provide heat and light for your plants, helping them get through their cold nights. Run the ballast at 400w during your vegetive phase, 600w during flowering.

SolarMax 600w MH Conversion Lamp. Run this lamp in your shade, during the vegetive phase. The light spectrum will help create a dense, lush canopy. It also helps prevent stretching during the flowering stage, which leads to a weaker branch structure. Have your timer set for 18 hours on, 6 hours off, daily.

Philips Son-T 600w HPS flowering lamp. Generally considered the best HPS lamp for flowering. Replace your MH lamp with this one, when you change your plant from the vegetive phase to the flowering phase. Have your timer set for 12 hours on and 12 hours off, from this point, until completion. Replace this lamp, every 3-4 grows to maintain best plant yields.

Avenger is the top of the range adjust-a-wing reflector. This has the most reflective and most durable surface on the market. Perfect size for this setup. Supplied with a super spreader, to reduce heat and photons directly under the light, giving you an even spread of light over the plant area.

x1 digital timer and x1 set of hangers so you can hang the shade.

x4 15ltr Autopots, x1 47ltr reservoir, complete with 9mm tubing, connections, valves, taps and root control mats. This is a gravity fed automatic watering system, requiring no power, pumps or timers. It can be left unattended, potentially for weeks. You fill the reservoir with water and nutrients, and it will do the rest.

x1 47ltr bag of Canna clay balls (LECA). fill the bottom of the autopots with about 7cm of clay.

x1 50ltr bag of Canna Terra Professional. Fill the remainder of the autopots evenly with this soil.
